paulpfiction
I am having trouble with my downloads. I have done basically everything that was recommended in the "IF YOU HAVE SPEED ISSUES READ HERE FIRST" thread. And it has not improved the speed. I reinstalled uTorrent so now it has the default settings again. When I ran the speed test, this showed up: Results: speed test failed. Connection failed error: A request to send or receive data was disallowed because the socket is not connected and (when sending on a datagram socket using a sendto call) no address was. I live in the Philippines so I figured I should choose Sydney, Australia because it's nearest.Below it in the "Network" part, this showed up: Results: port is not open (you are still able to download). I have already opened up the port in Windows Firewall before the test I don't know why it's saying that.I'm not using a router. My internet connection is from a device that is plugged in the USB port. My ISP is Globe Telecom.I'm using Avast as antivirus. And Windows Firewall. That's pretty much my security. The color of the network status is currently green. Before this happened, my download speeds usually range from 400-600kbps. Now I'd be lucky if it tops 50.
