orengreen Posted January 31, 2014 Report Posted January 31, 2014 Since the last update, I've been getting this problem:When I start a new download (click on magnet link), the torrent status appears as "checked 0.0%", and the torrent does not start downloading. What I do to rectify this is delete the torrent, find the .torrent file in my "appdata\roaming" folder, and click on that - the torrent starts downloading and behaves normally.
koenardinho Posted February 14, 2014 Report Posted February 14, 2014 I had the same problem. It worked by running this program "as administrator".
DJSuTorrent Posted April 15, 2014 Report Posted April 15, 2014 orengreen - Thank you for posting your solution. It's been so random and it's been driving me nuts. How on earth did you land on that fix? I'm impressed.

JOSEPH9911 Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 Does anyone know the solution for macbook pro?Right click finder on the dock and click "Go to folder..." then type in this "~/Library/Application Support/utorrent" without quotation marks. Go back into utorrent, delete the torrent that is stuck on Checked 0.0% and delete the torrent in your downloads folder. go back into that folder you opened from Go to folder and locate the torrent you are trying to download, open it and download. Enjoy
