This new update is bad.

Very unstable. Keeps on freezing while downloading. (my pc or any of the settings are not the problem)

Please fix and release a better update.

Although I run beta's, I install the stable versions as well in a separate folder.

No freezing for me when I tried it yesterday.

Essence: found an interesting bug in version 3.4.2.32126 associated with the function pause: if you put a hand missing files on pause, and then restart the program, the distribution will be downloaded in its entirety. Re restart solves the problem.

P.S. on version 3.4.2.32343 the same thing :)

Same here. If partially seeding torrents are in the paused state when uT is closed, they will be paused and incomplete on the next start. These torrents start downloading data from "skipped" files when resuming.

To add to the workaround: after stopping the affected torrents and restarting uT, they return to the "finished" state like they should. Restarting uT without first stopping the torrents does not fix it for me.

  • "Previous Stable Releases" is missing builds newer than 32080 (e.g. 32239)
  • There are two entries for 32080. The newer one (2014-06-26) is OK, the older one (2014-06-19) is actually 31893 with an incorrent heading.
  • 34343 should be 32343

When I try to download  µTorrent Stable (3.4.2 build 32343)

I get this message from the Google Chrome Browser:  uTorrent.exe is malicious, and Chrome has blocked it.

Is there a real problem here, or is the Google Chrome Browser messing up???   Won't download it for now or until I hear the why this is happening????

When I try to download it, my chrome says it is OK but Norton says that is dangerous and removes it from my computer.

So go into Norton and whitelist that file and or tell Symantec or you could disable Norton then install uTorrent.. It's really not that hard to figure it out.

There's nothing the uTorrent guys can do, you do understand how Antivirus works right? 0_o

how to permanently remove this "bundles"?

Until the devs add an advanced setting to disable permanently, rolling back to 32239 or earlier is the only way.  I haven't been able to determine what triggers it to reappear after using F8 to turn off Show Bundles.  Always something up their sleeves...

- RSS "Enable feed" context menu item - missing (cannot enable any feed)

confirm... this is funny bug   benefit as easily amendable developers waiting fixation.

troll mode on: base (core) functionality still suddenly breaks and developers renovating advertising, probably why there is no change log.

postrock played: Sad for me - because people wanted to transfer to the third version, and then a lot of people with thousands of torrents in the client sits on 2.0.4, and sometimes even on the 1.8.2 version because they consume much less resources, and most importantly it works. But now I feel that it's time to fall back on the most ancient version of the proven and not steamed, and then follow the bugs already bored.

reality: I hope yet that a new development cycle still does its thing, in fact it looks like and does, but unfortunately have to test the gui still manually.  :)

@devs:

What is the reason to have 2 different builds of the actual stable 3.4.2 with identical build no. 32354???

First one downloaded on 14.07. (1.4 MB), second one (1.8 MB, bloatware added?) on 18.07.2014 ...

It makes you wonder, and even more so when the succeeding beta's are even less e.g. 1.28 MB (1,347,408 bytes).

Developers are also interested in the answer and details of what kind of mess - can not be changed without changing the binary version, you do not be able to correct bugs analyze.
