conquerist
Still broken. The download link (http://download-lb.utorrent.com/endpoint/utorrent/os/windows/track/stable) was still serving 30870 to me when I posted, even though others were already reporting about about 30888 7 hours earlier... Ryrynz
Would be REAL nice if Bittorrent Inc could hold off adding new features and fix up ALL of the issues in 3.4.x before releasing a 3.5 Create a 3.4.2 Beta branch and just leave it open for bug fixes for a few months, PLEASE. sumdumugy
Agreed. They should open a 3.4.2 beta where the focus would be on fixing known issues and up the nightly/alpha builds to 3.5 or something...

bugmenot2
Sorry to barge in here, but the update checker doesn't seem to work at all for me. Hasn't been working for quite a while.I'm @ 30768 right now, but the program never tells me that there is a newer version, even if I initiate the update search manually. Stan
This is really weird. The download page shows µTorrent Stable (3.4.1 build 30888) For Windows (1.6 MB) English (US) - April 24, 2014. But when you download the file, has 1.2MB.The file is exactly (utorrent.exe): 1,270,352 bytes long MD5 Checksum: e2e84e72995ac987a8549f4d5203230b *utorrent.exe SHA1 Checksum: 12e1e11983ff1e348937731ed3153d7127cacdf6 *utorrent.exe Its smaller. Its everything alright?Because, the previous download of this exactly version and build has: MD5 Checksum: 9F27F32DC4C7BA60D7038E06F03973B7SHA1 Checksum: 99AA82AEE5DF66E08332927B063DCF4C4A162D1E Dated April 20, 2014

Morganna
When I download µTorrent several times in succession (even from the same link in the first post of this thread), I get a different file every time, though they all show the same version numbers (3.4.1.30888) and have the same size (1,672,784 bytes) with seemingly proper Digital Signatures, and the certificates look alright. I just did it three times within a couple of minutes and got three different uTorrent.exe files with these MD5 Checksums:43AB89EABAFB77974894F19ABDED16A764B244662B4830E892C9B1A3B1A8E2842E5D7F08A44D502D3545C4E3B597345A Beyond Compare shows approx. one screen full of hex differences between files, starting at hex position 00197CB9. Is there an explanation for this phenomenon?
mike20021969
I get a different file every time... Is there an explanation for this phenomenon? That sounds like a version of uTorrent roulette that we sometimes like to play on here. You spin the wheel and who knows what you're gonna get

wind77
and yet uT developers don't fix the reported bugs and crashes, just the Fix: Wrong nightly indicationFix: Bundle systray notificationFix: Improved error handling of HTTPS cert errors in adsFix: Color of about box text in short, is the app stupid, or the developers? anyway, thanks to the smart developers for bringing us uT 3.3.1 and before. DreadWingKnight
what firewall is that? One that is overparanoid. That threat report doesn't even show anything threatening in it.
Stan
One that is overparanoid.no, far from that. This client is acting like a well-known spyware. Connects to a specific site and send a receive data, offering offers. How do you call that?.I wonder how that firewall would react with an older version of this client. Lets say any 1.8.* or 2.*
DreadWingKnight
Went through the entire logs of these reports and none of them prove spyware. So yes overparanoid.
Zarggg
Which "well-known" spyware is it acting like? You are conflating spyware (software that sends information about you to advertisers or other third parties) with adware (software that displays ads to recoup costs of development).
