by skins u mean those files that change the appearence of the program when u open it

 

when i am talking about icon i am saying about the desktop .torrent files 

 

 

good old 3.2 had this 

 

new 3.4 has this

 

 

and now torrents are very hard to see 

 

 

how can i get them back?

Thanks for doing a google search but changing the regedit did nothing

Deleting the torrent keys or creating defaulticom keys also did nothing

Changing the "%1" also nada

U can try it urself to verify

Why on earth u guys changed a beatifull icon with a bad in the first place?

Hello,

Download the icon extrator from the following link:

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/resources_extract.html

then run the program : browse to
find the utorrent.exe file in it.

then in the utorrent default directory,
for me it was : C:\Users\myaccount\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent

find and rename the file called maindoc.ico to something else.

then copy the file u extracted previously here and name it as maindoc.ico

RESTART THE COMPUTER
Done.
