LTF Posted March 5, 2014 Report Posted March 5, 2014 The title says it all really. If you have a file selected (or more than one) in the file list of a torrent, and you hold the Shift key, and roll the mouse wheel up or down, then the selected file is run/opened (or if more than one is selected then sometimes one, sometimes several of the selected files). In fact, as far as I can tell it is run once for each 'tick' of the mouse wheel. It is possible that this is a clash with some Logitech software. I have the Logitech M705 mouse which has a special mouse wheel mode (you click a button to turn that mode on and off, and then can scroll freely without the mouse wheel stopping, very handy for long web pages and programming code, you roll the mouse wheel and let go and it just keeps going like the wheel on an upside down bike), and it has special software installed to make that work smoother with browsers etc. I'm running Logitech's setpoint6.61.15_64 and scroll_app_4.00.33. However the special mode was turned off, ie the mouse wheel was behaving in normal fashion. I'm on utorrent 3.4 build 30620, on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit (fully updated). Yes, I know, by not updating to the latest beta I have probably ensured you will ignore this, but the last time I updated to the latest beta so I could make a bug report I had a lot of trouble both with it and with removing it and I simply will not do that again, sorry.
Yggdresil Posted April 2, 2014 Report Posted April 2, 2014 I can confirm this on µTorrent 3.4.1 Beta (Build 30746) [32-bit], Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (although it only works with mouse wheel up for me).
