rich1068
Quick question. Probably been asked a million times.First off, generally no problems at all, green lights all the way, quick downloads etc etc I just need something clearing up.I'm seeding two torrents and as it happens I've never done this before. One is uploading quickly (around 35 kB/s) the other is uploading slowly (around 6 kB/s). When the quick one reaches a certain ratio will that slow and the other speed up? I've found a couple of settings in Options/Preferences/Seeding Priority which seems to be able to do just that but I just need confirmation from the wise ones. The FAQ sort of touches on this but I thought I'd check.I've set 'Seed While(Default Values)' to 150% / Seeding Time to Ignore / and unchecked Seeds have higher priority.I've set 'When Torrent has reached the seeding goal' to checked and limited upload to 10kB/sSound OK to you guys? µtorrent-Guest
all that depends of your actuall Uploadspeed capabilities.see what the speed guide CTRL+G recommends as running torrents for your uploadspeedEdit: but the values for then self looking not bad, if 10KB are good depends on your overall ULspeed ;-)
rich1068
Sorry, should have been a little more specific. As I said I have no particular problems using uTorrent. My current connection settings allow 3 uploads so 2 should be OK. Both files have healthy numbers of peers and seeds. My question, I think, is more 'Does uTorrent have this feature?' rather than 'I have xx problem'.
µtorrent-Guest
ja, as i have said, in generall its fine what you are doing with these settings.Just for the specifics aout the numbers and the speed value 10 kb i have sugested to look what CTRL+G says is good. With your settings in generall you are a good peer!! go get yourself a cookie for that ;-)
rich1068
Sorry µtorrent-Guest. Your English is a damn sight better than my German so thanks for your input but I'm not sure if you're answering my question. When the quick one reaches a certain ratio will that slow and the other speed up?I'm embarrassed now...
