billybong001
Hi guys, I have a question regarding seeding. Recently I downloaded some shows from a private tracker. They're pretty large and the client was seeding very nicely when done. Since then I have downloaded more stuff and those are also seeding when done. However, since I have my total active limit set at 10 and the list is alphabetically sorted, only the front few torrents are seeding the and rest are listed as "Queued Seed". Here's the problem. As these are private tracker torrents, the "demand" is occasional and not constant unlike popular public torrents. I want all my completed torrents to seed "on demand" not "keep waiting for peers". The torrents at the bottom of the list could have lots of peers but they're not seeding because they're waiting for the top few which are active but noone's downloading. What should I do? Regards,Bill
schnurlos
Theoretically you can rightclick the torrents and press "Force start".But if you followed the setup guide (CTRL+G) the settings in uTorrent should be correct according to your real speeds. billybong001
Hi schnurlos, I am not worried about uploads at all. When a torrent really gets going it can seed at over 500kB/s. What I want to do is to have all my completed torrents as "Seeding" status and not "Queued Seed". Example I have 30 torrents but only #1 to #10 are active. Now, let's say #24 now has peers/leech and needs seed, but $24 is not seeding because it is "Queued Seed", understand? Possible to make all torrents "Seeding" without using "Force Start"? uzetaab
No it's not.Unless I am misunderstanding something, it is possible to have more than 10 torrents seeding at once by changing the limits in the queueing section of preferences. I just changed my maximum number of active torrents to 100 and now all my (30) torrents are seeding.
