No fast speeds, but fine settings

Hi,

I just upgraded my internet connection to 300KB/sec and configured everything as it should be. Normally when I download torrents and I have enough peers and seeders, I get maximum speeds (before my upgrade I almost alwqays got 150KB/sec, my maximum.

Now I have 300KB/sec connection, but my torrents never come over the 100KB/sec. Whats the deal?

Here is a screenshot:

This is VERY fustrating, because I did Icedogs tutorial for optimizing your speeds and I have a faster connection while it goes slower. :(

I also changed ports, normally it was like a 5 digits port but now I use port 6346, because I forward it for more programs to (like Shareaza, aa P2P program, but I never use ShareAza and uTorrent at the same time)

What the hell is wrong?

try one of the 22C3. if not full speed there come again. otherwise its just your illegal torrents that have no fast peers then.

legal torrents from "Hackers" :)

Thanks for your reply, but could you explain something? :)

First, what is 22C3, what can I do with it?

And is it common that illegal torrents have lower speeds than legal? It seems I have enough sources to download from, but its still going slow.

EDIT:

Thanks for the link, I tried one of them and wow, speeds got to 300KB/sec in no-time!!

Why is my other torrent so slow? I've downloaded other illegal torrents but they went fast, so what is the problem?

Thanks in advance

" I've downloaded other illegal torrents ..."

thanks for your confession! , "sergeant get the handcuffs" ;-)

seriously: this illegal torretn might just have no fast peer then.

Thats the problem; we the people that do such "illegal" things and feel not guilty about it, do not all have highspeed backbone connections lile the RWTH Aachen or the ISP-"Freenet" in Germany have.

And when your "illegal" torrent then has not a handfull of swedish peers with their relatively fast UL lines then it's just slow. Thats the nature of BT.
