Deathdealers747
OK, so about 4-5 days ago I finished up after a mistake I had made when installing new hardware to my computer. I backed up all my files and replaced them back onto my HDD. It was working just fine on Beta 3.4.1 Build 30722 that I had installed, using the same files as the previous Beta 3.4.1 that I was using. It worked so well, that I was even able to download a torrent successfully and seed successfully. Randomly, out of the blue, after only a few other programs (Foobar 1.3.1 Stable, GW2 Battlestats 1.7.2 Stable, Teamspeak 3 64-bit Client -- previously worked with uTorrent before the wipe) were installed after uTorrent, yesterday and today, all of my torrents have disappeared. Now, you need to understand what I mean by this. I constantly am backing up all of my torrent files, data files, and anything and everything related to those torrents. I still have the torrent files themselves, the text files to those torrent files, and the video files and any other files matching those torrent files. The only thing that is missing is the torrents inside of uTorrent itself. It is not seeding, it is not downloading, and it is completely blank. It'll accept a new torrent, but that's it. The settings have not changed, it worked with the settings since reinstall, and nothing, absolutely nothing was changed. There's no need to even blame a virus, as I had just 6 days ago completely wiped my HDD, and did a full scan on the backup files using MBAM and MSE. There is no crash dumps to add in here, as nothing has crashed. In order to attempt to fix this problem, I had originally upgraded to the uTorrent Beta 3.4.1 Build 30724, with no avail. Then, i downgraded to Stable 3.4 Build 30660, to no avail. I don't understand. It worked before and after the wipe of the HDD. Completely out of the blue, it stopped working. I even completely uninstalled it, reinstalled it, 3 times over, to absolutely no avail.----------------------------------------------------------- I'm attaching the information that was requested upon a bug report being filed.Windows 7 64-bit SP1hijackthis-3,27,2014.txtuTorrent Process Explorer Data-3.27.2014.TXThijackthis-3,27,2014.txtuTorrent Process Explorer Data-3.27.2014.TXT
DreadWingKnight
Ok, so you had something interfere with the shutdown of uTorrent in such a way that the resume data deleted. You haven't described HOW it's not accepting a new torrent nor have you described how you're trying to load the torrents. Firon
If you had such thorough backups, restore the contents of %Appdata%\uTorrent from your backups.

"It'll accept a new torrent, but that's it." Re-read. If you had such thorough backups, restore the contents of %Appdata%\uTorrent from your backups. I'm already running on the exact same files, that's why this post was made. Nothing, literally, nothing was changed. Yet, no downloading/seeding is displayed. Deathdealers747
If you had such thorough backups, restore the contents of %Appdata%\uTorrent from your backups. OK. So, I restored them for now, it's working, again, for now. I'll report back again if it breaks randomly, again.
