gabriel1475
Hello everyone, can someone please throw me some advice? Since the switch to 3.4.1, the font sizes went up dramatically, and then changed many times. Smaller, larger, smaller. What is going on. Seems to have stabalized now, but it's huge. The text for all my various torrents in progress is about double the size it used to be. I tried HELP, but there was no mention of "Font" when I searched. So I read through most all of it, and there seems to be no adjustment for font size. At least, it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the HELP section. Anyone? Thanks in advance for your help. Beasly
Go into Windows Advanced Appearance settings and play around with some of those to fit your need.
gabriel1475
Hi,thanks very much, but this has nothing to do with my Windows settings. Something weird is going on with utorrent. Not only did the text increase in size, but it's also behaving odd. At least, in terms of the UI. The performance is no different as far as I can tell, in terms of downloading. But the appearance is weird, and moving torrents around (up or down in the list, removing, ect) is acting funny. Things which were selected, are randomly deselected. LIke when moving a torrent from long ago to a higher number on the list...it will simply deselect it while I am attempting to bring it upwards in number. Hopefully that made sense. Oh, I'm running XP, if that makes a diference. Thanks everyone.
mokojono
I have the same problem on Windows 7. The rows in the torrent list are not ridiculously tall, meaning I get less on the screen at once.
Tensk
Same here, and I'm using XP as well (the valiant in me ;D). Also, the Stop/Play/Pause buttons don't quite work as they used to. There isn't even a Pause button anymore.
JNavas
I rolled back to 3.3.2 (with System Restore).

gabriel1475
Wish I hadn't updated. The previous version was working well.
Hairybolux
I have problems with sorting the torrents, in previous versions you could just select the torrent and move it up or down the list by repeatedly clicking the appropriate up/down button. Now I have to select the torrent, click down once, reselect, click down etc, tiresome procedure..

gabriel1475
Works fine for me. A strange post. I think he confused this thread with the one entitled: "please comment if you are not having any problems whatsoever, and would really like to say so....because you are good enough, smart enough, and gosh darnit, people like you" thread. This one, quite obviously, was meant for those having similar troubles, to hopefully comment and perhaps find a solution.
mokojono
Somehow the uTorrent devs seem to be even more frustrating than the Chrome devs.
gabriel1475
Always had problems with uTorrent, for years now. Pretty much everyone I know complains too, yet they never switch to another program. utorrent is sucking hard. What are the other torrent programs like? Which ones have you guys used before, and how do they compare? uTorrent, you suck. I'm leavin you, baby. Don't bother calling....and you can have your records back! PersonOfGoodRepute
I just started experiencing this problem today. The font size changed in the sidebar. Not only the font size, but the spacing between each item. It's very strange. Everything in the torrent list seems unaffected. It's just the sidebar that suddenly changed. rafi
Yes, this was changed in the latest builds of 3.4.2 , and now is being worked on/fixed. They probably wantd a more modrn look, and this is the interim result...The new black fonts over blueish background color for selected torrents in the main view is quite nice actually...
