osm0sis Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 if those are the correct numbers you got from the speed guide for your particular connection, then yes. to change the number of half-open connections (what the lvllord patch DOES affect), go to the advanced options. it's net.max_halfopen, change that setting to 30edit: it should increase your ramp-up time noticably.
