crash on "Dump DHT Buckets" and "Dump DHT Trackers "

Sorry for the cross post, I've already posted this in the 3.4 stable release thread (link).

Dump DHT Buckets and Dump Tracked in the Logger tab don't work.

3.4 30596: works

3.4 30620: works

3.4 30635: works

3.4 30660 (stable): no logger output, uploads and downloads stop, upload and download speed in status bar and task bar tooltip freeze

3.4.1 30740 (stable): no logger output, uploads and downloads stop, upload and download speed in status bar and task bar tooltip freeze

3.4.1 30768 (stable): no logger output, uploads and downloads stop, upload and download speed in status bar and task bar tooltip freeze

3.4.1 30870 (stable): no logger output, uploads and downloads stop, upload and download speed in status bar and task bar tooltip freeze. Still broken after settings.dat reset.

3.4.1 30888 (stable): no logger output, uploads and downloads stop, upload and download speed in status bar and task bar tooltip freeze

3.4.1 30915 (RC): no logger output, uploads and downloads stop, upload and download speed in status bar and task bar tooltip freeze

PS:

What is the preferred way to report bugs with the new "Cherry" release system? Threads in the "Bug Reports" forum? Posts in an announcement thread?

In the old release system, the beta and stable branches were separate, so it made sense to report them in the corresponding announcement thread. But if I understand the "Cherry" release system correctly, beta and stable builds are now from the same branch, only feature test builds are in separate branches. With two announcement threads for one branch, there is no longer a branch-specific announcement thread, so it makes less sense to report bugs there than it did with the old system.

+1. Tested Dump DHT Buckets and Dump DHT Tracked in uTorrent 3.4.1.30888 (stable) and there does appear to be an issue here.

 

Dump DHT Buckets caused all downloads / uploads to freeze (i.e. the % completed; download rate; upload rate; etc. freeze and stop updating). Nothing appeared in the log. I could still select torrents; get torrent properties; select labels; switch tabs in the Detailed Info pane; etc., but I couldn't perform any actions (i.e. start; stop; change order; etc.) on the torrents. After exiting uTorrent it remained running in the background. I had to kill it via the Windows Task Manager.

 

Dump DHT Tracked just didn't produce and output to the log, but otherwise everything else seemed fine. Although uTorrent seemed to take a little longer than usual to disappear from the process list in the Windows Task Manager.

New stable build. Now, Dump DHT Bucket as well Dump DHT Tracked don't cause uTorrent to crash anymore, but the commands still produce no output whatsoever.

There seems to be no info at all on the "dht-store feature".

+1. I can confirm this new behaviour in 3.4.1.31139-stable.

 

Dump DHT Buckets and Dump DHT Tracked both produce no output still, but at least Dump DHT Buckets doesn't cause uTorrent to crash (for want of a better word).
