computate
I have the utorrent app downloaded on my Galaxy S4. I am downloading a large file (around 10 gigs), and I don't have enough internal storage left. I have selected the SD card location using the arrow, but it never sticks. It always just goes back to my internal storage. The SD card is 32 gigs. Hoping someone has had this similar problem and can help me fix it, thanks. Kitsoran
Are you able to save anything to the SD card? Are you running Kit Kat? If you're running kitkat you may be suffering the effects of a "security feature" that nerfs SD card functionality, allowing saving only to app specific directories. I am also running Kit Kat, so that might be the problem. Is there any way to circumvent this? Thanks Nick
Kitsoran
Circumvention would require voiding your phones warranty by rooting it, which may or may not be possible for your model. BUT, let's see if that's even the root of your issue first. IIRC if you're affected then apps can only save to app specific directories on the SD card. Are you able to save photos to arbitrary locations or must it go to a specific directory? What's the name of the directory?
