nf0rc3r Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Just did a clean format. Installed all windows updates everything.Of cos did necessary telneting on my router. Did the lvllord thingy to increase max tcp connections on windows. When i just started utorrent. everything works fine. A while into it. After say 2 - 3 mins when connections start to pileup. All trackers are reported offline..... HELP -.-!
Firon Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 Lower net.max_halfopen back to 8, keep your connections <200, turn off UPnP, forward ports if necessary. Got a firewall?
nf0rc3r Posted May 25, 2006 Author Report Posted May 25, 2006 strange thing i used the same settings and anti virus (AVG).No firewall. same router settings as well.. azuerues works fine surprisingly..
nf0rc3r Posted May 26, 2006 Author Report Posted May 26, 2006 Is it possible its a utorrent bug? Azuerues worked fine for the past 24 hours. utorrent just gives the same problem
Firon Posted May 26, 2006 Report Posted May 26, 2006 It's one of those works-for-me things (mine has a few hundred tracker connections when I start it up, not a single one times out)By the way, what did you patch tcpip.sys to, and what did you set net.max_halfopen to?
nf0rc3r Posted May 26, 2006 Author Report Posted May 26, 2006 i set it to 256 in tcpip.sys and halfopen is only 32
