Is there a 64 bit version of utorrent?

Does anyone know if there is a 64 bit version of utorrent available and where to get it from? I couldn't find it on here but I found a few websites claiming they have it but the downloads don't work.

There used to be, but it offered no performance or stability improvements and was discontinued.

So is uTorrent going to be discontinued as well? Cause 32-bit windows systems are on their way to extinction...

You would be surprised how many programs are 32-bit today. Won't happen anytime soon.

Are there any workarounds for the constant crashing on a 64-bit system though...?

It doesn't crash just because you're running on a 64-bit system.

There are other factors involved.

I have 2 machines, one runs Win7-32bit (uTorrent runs smoothly for any given amount of time)

The other machine runs Win8-64bit (uTorrent crashes constantly) I'd go away form the machine and come back after a couple of hours to find it has not only stopped working but the app has completely shutdown.

 

I use the same default settings for uTorrent on both machines and I'm even using the same AV/Firewall...

 

If there any factors I should consider please let me know...

Differences in versions of internet security software.

Without the information required for proper crash troubleshooting, we can't answer exactly.
