utorrent flickers when I close it

1) Whenever I close utorrent when a file has been downloading for some time, the taskbar and all programs I have opened or I try to open lags and start flickering.
2) The flickering stops after 10 seconds or so.

3) If I try to shut down windows says that utorrent is still running.

4) If I force close it, it verifies file integrity of the file downloading, the next time I start utorrent.

System: Windows 7 64bit, 8 GB RAM, Quad core processor

P.S. Please add a pause button in version 3.4.1

 

EDIT: Reinstallation fixed it.
