Newbie here, and really forking nervous. Few ?'s, anyone help?

Very new to this; whole different world out here than when my old ass obtained something from another individual that I couldn't afford. I'm lost, confused, worried, desperate, but can't give up. Anyone out there willing to help my dumb ass with a few basic questions?

 

I have similar items to offer as to what I seek; not trying to totally bum off someone that's into the same things I'm into.

Thanks for taking a moment to reply. Yeah, I checked out the help menu, which was quite helpful for my outdated ass. Most of my questions and concerns are maybe a little more "specific" to my particular interests; it appears (at least to me anyway) that most people here are interested in music, movies, tv shows, etc. Where as my interests are software related; very specific software.

 My fear is that by the time I do indeed locate what I'm looking for (doubting that it's availability thus far), I will end up with something bogus (virus), it being some kind of trap, or my precautions thus far to hide my identity will lead to something even more unpleasant; IF I end up finding what I seek. Damn, where's a good ole fashioned tutor (monetarily compensated of course), or "hunter" (also paid) when you need one.
