Can I use "Relocate..." to keep seeding a file while the .torrent has removed from the client?

accidently I remove a .torrent file from the client, and then I've renamed or moved/changed the directory of the file. can I redownload a .torrent file - "Relocate..." action - "Force Re-check a torrent to keep seeding a torrent?

 

I worried if I do that action the file I was downloaded will be corrupt.

can you give advice please!
