uTorrent fails to be updated

Hi,

uTorrent in general works just great!

However, when there's an update available, and I approve the app to update itself, I get the attached error.

The text says:

Failed to verify the downloaded update. Please try updating again.

 

I even tried to uninstall and download the latest version from utorrent.com but after awhile when another update became available the problem reproduced.

I'm using Windows 8 64bit OS with uTorrent 32bit (didn't see any other version for Windows).

 

Any ideas?

Yea... would really like to know why the app says an update is available, and then won't let you download, much less install it. ... very annoying.

 

When I click "yes" to the update question, nothing happens. Really. Nothing. The program then proceeds to work fine.

 

If there is an update, and the company recommends that I install it, please provide a way to make it work. Or remove the suggestion please.
