Commander X Posted May 19, 2014 Report Posted May 19, 2014 First , I'm sorry for posting about BitTorrent over a uTorrent forum. I'm helpless. I've spent countless hours for downloading a five gig files. So I'm sorry again.Second , I fancy many settings are same. I , while drinking coffee , wanted to pause the torrent and I accidentally clicked on something other than pause. Not delete , I'm sure , but now...look at the attachement. I've spent countless hours , and not even re-downloading the .torrent file seems to work. Any help , PLEASE?
DreadWingKnight Posted May 19, 2014 Report Posted May 19, 2014 Ok, so click the text for "Torrents" on the left sidebar.
Commander X Posted May 19, 2014 Author Report Posted May 19, 2014 Okay. I think re-location it will fix the problem?
Commander X Posted May 19, 2014 Author Report Posted May 19, 2014 No avail. Just asks me to load trackers from it...
DreadWingKnight Posted May 19, 2014 Report Posted May 19, 2014 You haven't followed my instructions yet.
DreadWingKnight Posted May 19, 2014 Report Posted May 19, 2014 Also BitTorrent has their own support forum.
Commander X Posted May 19, 2014 Author Report Posted May 19, 2014 You haven't followed my instructions yet.I'm sorry for troubling you. Kind sir...I'm not quite Mycroft Holmes , I failed to notice , in the influence of sleep , I clicked on the "feed" tab instead of torrents.Again I'm sorry. I did click on the "Add a torrent" and located the .bittorrent file , but it didn't work since torrents don't show up in the feed tab. I am sorry , sorry again if I wasted your time. Sorry , sir.
Commander X Posted May 19, 2014 Author Report Posted May 19, 2014 Also BitTorrent has their own support forum.I know that. But I fancy it doesn't work. Since I am , over both Tor and my original browser , unable to access it. It gives me 403 error , a problem with their server.
DreadWingKnight Posted May 19, 2014 Report Posted May 19, 2014 Well that's not something they caused, because the forums work fine here.
DreadWingKnight Posted May 19, 2014 Report Posted May 19, 2014 And 403 isn't a "problem with their server" error. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_403
Commander X Posted May 19, 2014 Author Report Posted May 19, 2014 It's rather strange since , unless Tor fails to change my IP , that I've a problem. I think it's a router-ban problem. I'll look into it.
Commander X Posted May 19, 2014 Author Report Posted May 19, 2014 Also. "Status code 403 responses are the result of the web server being configured to deny access, for some reason, to the requested resource by the client." misconfiguration , I suppose, then?
DreadWingKnight Posted May 19, 2014 Report Posted May 19, 2014 I've had reports that they've had to ban an entire country due to spammers. I think it was India that was getting really bad.
