phase52010
Hello; Because a few programs I need aren't available for the Mac, I have Windows 7 installed using VMFUSE. And as Windows7 is connected to the internet through the Mac I thought I'd try a little experiment. So after setting up a torrent on my Mac I download to Windows7 which took no time at all. uTorrent on Windows7 then started seeding the torrent. So I was seeding the same torrent from MacOSX and Windows7, both through the same ADSL2+ connection. What I found was that the same torrent uploading from windows7 had a much better upload speed. Sometimes 10 times better. I tried setting up uTorrent to match the settings on windows7, but it made no difference. any thoughts on why this happens? robert. Kitsoran
Did you try one client at a time? Running two simultaneous is silly.
