catgirl Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 I haven't been able to find this topic in the forum, so please bear with me. I've had a couple of torrents open to seed for about 4 days now. One of them has over 1800 peers and 3200 seeds. The other has 89 and 152 respectively. Am I going to have to let them seed forever? I'm afraid my brand new laptop's battery will burn out. I haven't changed any settings from the original download of utorrent. Thanks for any help.
DreadWingKnight Posted May 25, 2014 Report Posted May 25, 2014 With the seed to peer ratio being high on the seed side, there's not much you're really going to be able to do unless your client is able to properly accept incoming connections. You can't force connections to peers whose connection slots are all filled. You also can't force connections to peers that have turned into seeds in the interval between you getting the peer count and you attempting to connect to them while seeding.
