Firon Posted May 27, 2014 Report Posted May 27, 2014 Yes. It has to allocate the file, which means writing out zeroes to the file at full speed. Hard drives are slow. No way around it.
rafi Posted May 28, 2014 Report Posted May 28, 2014 Even when you have diskio.no_zero - true (=the default as admin)?
pavicj Posted May 29, 2014 Author Report Posted May 29, 2014 Yes. The same situation is on my other 2 pc
pavicj Posted May 29, 2014 Author Report Posted May 29, 2014 Same. Like i said when the download goes around 0.5-0.7% the usage goes back to normal. and thats so on all my pc. is that normal or it is a bug?
