phineas Posted June 9, 2014 Report Posted June 9, 2014 hi there. i hv a win 7 64 system with eset. until saturday june 6th evening i was downloading normally with utorrent (along with jdownloader) and simultaneously surfing internet/listening web radio. i recall i completed downloading a torrent and it was added to the ones to be seeded. it was the 9th if i recall well (torrent added to be seeded) and from that moment, internet started failing (firefox unable to connect to any page), utorrent was still downloading at low speed and webradio cud hardly play. i dont have the setting to start utorrent on start up. so when i restarted the computer and didnot open at all utorrent, everything was working smoothly again. but from the moment i start utorrent, all hell brakes loose.. i read at this post here [ http://forum.utorrent.com/topic/71602-utorrent-disconnects-my-internet/ ]that maybe utorrent is causing a false flooding, tricking the router (?) i already called my isp and asked them to see it - but what caused the problem in the first place ? i didn't change anything at all!/nor did any change in my net behaviour say last couple of weeks - all working normally. appreciate any help ! edit: i'm using 3.4.1 build 31139
