UTorrentPlus 3.4.2 goes to Not Responding right away

Hello,

 

I've been using UTorrent for years and never had a problem, but since it upgraded to 3.4 it keeps hanging and crashing. It stops responding and I have to End Task.

 

The version I have now is uTorrentPlus 3.4.2 (build 31743) [32-bit].

 

I am on Windows 8.1.

 

Do I have any of the settings wrong or is there a previous version that might work better?

 

Sorry, I don't know much about software so if more info is needed please let me know.

I also have the same problem, OS: Windows 7 64bit, uTorrent 3.4.2 31893 build.

Can you offer any suggestions? How to handle this issue? 

 

Tried to reset settings, but it did not help.

Just leave it for some minutes. It must recover.

Do not kill the process.
