Usagi
There is a serious bug in uTorrent. If there are multiple trackers on a site that uses passkeys, the passkeys are clipped from the url. Users then get no credit for their uploads.Usagi
DreadWingKnight
Download the torrent to the hard drive and check with torrentspy from http://torrentspy.sf.netVerify that the passkeys are indeed in the torrent.
Usagi
I already did that using bitcomet. Bitcomet shows all trackers and passkeys. So does uTorrent if there is only one tracker. Add another tracker and this happens. Trust me, it's real. Here is the top part of the torrent:d8:announce59:http://sailormoonfansubs.com:6969/announce?smfs=1D9QqkRoUW&13:announce-listll30:http://tracker.prq.to/announceel42:http://sailormoonfansubs.com:6969/announceI can't show you because your system keeps cutting out part of itI also installed BitTornado and see the same problem. Is there something 'screwy' in the torrent ?
DreadWingKnight
I said to use torrentspy, not bitcomet.
Usagi
TorrentSpy:Shows the tracker with passkey on the General page.On the data page I see:root (7)|announce(59) = {my tracker + passkey}|There are two subdivisions under that (30) = { one tracker that didn't have a passkey}(42) = {my tracker without passkey}Usagi
Firon
If torrentspy shows there's no passkey, then there's no passkey. It's the torrent that's missing it.Nothing wrong with µTorrent.

Firon
You said you saw two other trackers WITHOUT a passkey in Torrentspy. Which means only the first one had a passkey.
Usagi
The torrent opened in Notebook -- word wrap is on:
Firon
Neither tracker #2 nor #3 have a passkey. (and #3 is the same tracker as #1...)
Usagi
I am using phpBB with a MOD which adds a torrent tracker to the Board. It creates the torrent on the fly as the member downloads it. It adds the passkey at that time.I just tried making the torrent from scratch using the two trackers Sailormoonfansubs with passkey and tracker.prq.to. I looked at that torrent with notebook. It shows two instances of Sailormoonfansubs, both with passkey. It also shows the other tracker. When I tried that one with uTorrent, it worked fine.So it looks like th problem is in the MOD. It needs to add the passkey to all instances of the tracker which is supposed to have a passkey. Thanks for your time nm-- we both learned somethingUsagi
