After computer shut down download down to 0% and force recheck doesn't work

I'm running OSX Mavericks.

 

After my computer froze I restarted it. Before that my download was at 34% and now it's at 0% again. I stopped the download and did 'Force Recheck' but it's still at 0%. Force recheck finishes and it downloads like normal except it sees none of what I'd already download.

 

It's a 13.5GB file and it's taking ages.

 

I'm running uT version 1.8.4.

 

It says my share ratio is at 0.435 as it was before I restarted.

I think it's a problem with OSX.
