bentalbd
I recently replaced my bad HDD with a new one. I reinstalled Windows (Vista 32-bit) as well as uTorrent. My computer was working perfectly fine and fast but after installing uTorrent it started being very very slow. It takes about 30-60 seconds to open a web page, about 15 seconds to open "My Computer".I looked in the Task Manager and found out uTorrent uses a lot of memory (2nd after Firefox) and uses my CPU constantly (15-40 constantly). I never had this problem before and don't know how to solve it.... Your help appreciated. Ben

DreadWingKnight
Are you getting this behavior with just running uTorrent or are you also downloading.
bentalbd
Mainly when downloading the usage starts peaking. Download speed is alright and ususal though.
DreadWingKnight
Sounds like something like internet security software hooking into uTorrent and messing things up honestly.
bentalbd
Do you think it might be MSE or Windows Firewall? There's access allowed on both (btw I'm using MSE)
DreadWingKnight
Probably not. It's more likely something else. Post a hijackthis log and process explorer process list with the dll list for the utorrent.exe process please.
