Maxwell-3
What the fuck is this file check after I exit utorrent while something is downloading?? then after I came back to windows utorrent automatically starts doing a file check of 20 GB file I was downloading... Its taking a lot of power from my computer, opening internet browser takes few minutes, WTF??? How do I remove this bullshit I dont want utorrent do any check on my files. Also why is uttorrent starting on startup when I explicitly REMOVED it several times from programs that start on startup!!! I used to love this program but this new "features" are pissing me off!!! DreadWingKnight
The check on uTorrent start is because some crap on your computer is interfering with uT's shutdown. And if you don't want uTorrent to start on startup, turn it off in the preferences.
Maxwell-3
What do you mean interfering with uT's shutdown? I just turn off PC, and I forget that something is downloading. Than I come back and uT starts the check and when the file is too big it takes a lot of time and is slowing my computer and can not even be stopped!! Is there a posibility to turn this off? I don't want any check. It wasn't in previous versions of uT I think.
DreadWingKnight
It was always there that if something messed with the save of the resume state, a re-check would happen. Fix whatever's causing uTorrent to shut down improperly.
Maxwell-3
But nothing is causing uTorrent to shut down improperly, I just turn off or hibernate PC while something is being downloaded. I must manually stop downloading and turn off uT every time I walk from my PC??
DreadWingKnight
But nothing is causing uTorrent to shut down improperly,Except that the behavior you're describing says that there IS something. What internet security software do you have installed?
Maxwell-3
Only NOD32 Antivirus, no firewall. Turning off PC should stop the download, why is it improper??
