Valorian
I dont have a router, as I am using a Kyocera PCMCIA card through Alltel Wireless MobileLink (Broadband) so all the solutions presented for forwarding a port are meaningless to me. How do I get uTorrent to establish a connection through a port? I managed it a few times by using a lower port value, then once connected, going to a larger one, but Im now unable to do that, "traffic light" is now staying amber constantly. Inf
Amber means noone attempted to establish an incoming connection to you yet. This doesnt neccesarily means there is a problem.
Firon
If you use the port tester in the Speed Guide, and it says you're OK, you probably are. However, if you get a RED light, then you are not.
Valorian
Port Tester is returning a "Fail" on nearly every port that I try ... I did have eTrust EZ Firewall installed, but uninstalled it 2 weeks ago and Im still havig the same problems, Windows Firewall is off as well. Firon
Typically with fixed wireless, or wireless internet services, you are permanently NATed and cannot forward ports. Try calling your ISP and asking them.
