ryneaux Posted July 14, 2014 Report Share Posted July 14, 2014 When I installed uTorrent Norton's quarentined it as potentially harmful but I restored the install. However, uTorrent doesn't show up in my C:\\Program Files ( nor C:\\Program Files (x86)) nor is it listed with any of my other programs... not in the start menu nor in the "Programs and Features" control panel. But, if I go to my download folder and double click the uTorrent.exe installer it will run the software instead of installing or uninstalling...I am running Windows 8.1 64 bitNorton's antivirusIt is not a matter of it not functioning... it functions fine... but the missing listings and such concern me as far as what that might mean for the stability of my system later down the road.Thanks for any advice or possible solutions...
