lissieanne Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 I have found out that my isp provider is blocking p2p is there a way for me to still use utorrent?lissieanne
Ultima Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Set Protocol Encryption to Enabled. If that doesn't help, set it to Forced and disable legacy incoming connections. If that still doesn't work, the only thing left is to switch ISPs.
Dark Shroud Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Couldn't they try a secure proxy before switching ISPs.
µtorrent-Guest Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 Dark ShroudThats one possibility...... but why your fucking ISP paying money if it blocks BT and then also paying extra money to circumvent that blocking?Save the money for the proxy and cancel the contract with the BT-blocking ISP!"These guys"™ should not be rewarded for their wrongdoing!Network neutrality now!Edit:2 linksOne (of many) nice videos Real website (not the fakey wannebe grassroot site put up by "the bad ones")http://www.savetheinternet.com/
Ultima Posted May 29, 2006 Report Posted May 29, 2006 @Dark Shroud: Eh I guess so, but free, good proxies are a real pain to find, if you can find one at all.
