krdowney
My uTorrent worked fine yesterday and then I upgraded it. Now it will no longer connect to peers, or really do much of anything. I am running Windows 7 64-bit Professional. I'm okay with computers but I don't know how to tweak torrents at all. What are the first 3-5 things I should be looking to do here? If you point me in the right direction I should be able to figure this out. But please don't tell me the new build requires Windows 8. For what it's worth, uTorrent's sister product BitTorrent is doing the exact same thing

krdowney
I really regret upgrading to the "more stable" version. It was working just fine the night before. I installed the upgrade just to make it quit asking me. I should have checked the blogs first to see how many problems people are having, I usually do. I hope there are answers out there. A lot of people have lost their ability do up and download.
killian44
Did you check your proxy settings? I had upgraded a while back and the settings did not stay almost got myself in in hot water. Check your settings and use the setup guide under options...good luck!
