µTorrent won't open torrent files even though I associated torrents with it since upgrade

µTorrent won't open torrent files even though I associated torrents with it.

Each time i click on a torrent to download it now asks me to select a programme to open with and it constantly wants me to download bitlord.

I have tried the troubsooting guide 'Open the preferences and click on "Associate with .torrent files" which has done nothing

I have tried to set the default programe in Windows to modify .torrent associations but it doesnt find utorrents at all or accept any changes.

I have also unistalled and reinstalled Utorrents 3.4.2 and also beta but no luck.

My utorrents was fine up until i upgraded it and nothing i have tried what i can think of to try and fix this issue but im out of ideas....
