Lackooo
I've reinstalled my OS today, and I've downloaded latest utorrent again, but now I have a weird HDD bug, and my HDD's always overloading, I've set my cache to 256MB, but it's still become a 100% overload in utorrent soon at a ~8MBps download. How is this possible? DreadWingKnight
Preallocation causes this disk usage. If you don't want that disk usage and don't want disk overload: Turn preallocation off Turn sparse files on (advanced) Turn no zero on (advanced)

licurg
Had a similar issue some time ago. Resolved by tweaking Disk Cache in Advanced preferences.
