whiteTiger94
Hi, someone told me that seeding torrents can do damage to the HDD because of the continous read/write process. Is it true? (Sorry if this was asked before)Thank you!
DreadWingKnight
It causes less damage than the people trying to cache large amounts of downloads in RAM which lets the hard drive spin down and up constantly. A hard drive that is going full speed all the time will typically die AFTER one that attempts to save power by caching lots of activity that allows the drive to spin down.
