DreadWingKnight
Ratio enforcement is beyond the scope of the protocol.
Ramius
If you are using a private tracker and you are a registered member, then they keep track of your ratio. If they do, they keep ratios for both single torrent and overall data transfer, but it is usually the latter that really matters. If you are using only public trackers (no login, no passkey) no one records, or cares about, your ratio. Firon
Despite the fact that no one cares about your ratio on public trackers, it is good etiquette to seed it back to 1:1 (or at LEAST .75), or higher.
Switeck
On public and private trackers alike:Poorly seeded torrents need all the help they can get, even in preferance over other torrents that you may only have a 50% ratio on.
