uTorrent takes a while to delete data on large torrents

I have 'gui.delete_to_trash' turned off so data is permanently deleted bypassing the recycling bin.

I've noticed recently when deleting large torrents using 'remove and delete data', it gets stuck on 'deleting' for a while before it actually disappears.

During this time, windows performance monitor is saying uTorrent is maxing out the HDD write speed on the torrent data.
