mogge Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 Just recently i've been downloading extremely slow. I never had the problem before, but i guess recently i've been downloading @ 2.4kb/s max! I browsed the forums a bit, and even tried the torrents at http://bittorrent.ccc.de:2342/, and i'm downloading at 0.2kb/s from there. No matter the ammount of seeds i don't even break 6kb/s. I use to get speeds of 300kb/s.Any help is greatly appreciated.I'm using Adelphia Powerlink (USA).If you need any further information, just ask thanks in advance!
µtorrent-Guest Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 if 22C3 slow then either you screwed the settings (use CTRL+G and read carefully) or your ISP get the word about ellacoya boxes.turn on protocoll encryption, use random ports.
mogge Posted June 1, 2006 Author Report Posted June 1, 2006 i opened the port in my router already.also what is ellacoya boxes?
mogge Posted June 1, 2006 Author Report Posted June 1, 2006 well i messed with the settings, and in settings i guess i changed global maximum upload rate i had that set to 1, but i had the alternate upload rate set to 0, because my upload tends to exceed my overall download and lags everything else, so when i download during the day i have it capped. but sinec i changed that back to 0 it seems like it fixed the problem oddly.
Firon Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 Use the SPeed Guide and choose your upload speed in kbit/s, then leave it alone.
