uTorrent crashing UVerse Cable

I've seen posts about how uTorrent can impact internet connections, but I have something very different -- uTorrent is interfereing with my Uverse cable reception.

I've had the problem for several weeks, and initially thought it was ATT. I've had three technicians out to service the router, deal with wiring, etc. Basically, everything they could do has been.

Tonight, after their last visit, I tried watching TV while uTorrent wasn't running and didn't have any problems. (That problem -- the TV would "freeze" and the "lost connection" screen would come up. If I switched to a different channel, it would automatcally resolve, and otherwise, it would take about a minute to cycle). I turned on my PIA and didn't turn on uTorrent -- no problem.

Turned on uTorrent -- within two minutes, screen freeze. So now, here I am.

I'd appreciate any guidance. I started using uTorrent on my MAC recently and it's so much easier that Vuze. I'll go back if necessary (never had this problem with Vuze), but I've enjoyed that uTorrent is much easier to format and all that.

1st: you are in the wrong forum - you should ask in the Mac section

2nd: did you make the setup? If not uTorrent is maximizing the use of your internet connection and this will be the reason why parallel watching TV in your case would be nearly impossible.

First -- sorry about the mispost -- just realized when I came back that there were actually two separate forums! Thanks for moving.

Not sure what you mean by "make the setup." I did some basic things like fixing folders, etc. but not sure what you'd suggest. Any guidance is appreciated!
