TheChief
Hey guys, i just joined the forums and i installed ubuntu server following some steps from other sites. So i got the uTorrent Server working on my Ubuntu 12.04 server which i got from online.net . uTorrent server was working fine for 5 mins then it said that connection couldn't be established or some error in uTorrent page. so i refreshed and i got a blank page . when i woke up again this morning , i deleted the file and folder located in /opt/ and re downloaded the file and extracted it. i renamed it as /opt/ubuntu-server/ and also added symbolic link to /usr/bin/utserver/ . also webui.zip is located at /opt/ubuntu-server/ and the executable is there too in the same folder. But now when i open the link on my browser it shows the login page and i enter the username "admin" and then the site goes blank . the link for this is : http://localhost:8080/gui/ and when i open http://localhost:8080/ it says invalid request . so i have not found any new tutorial or any link to fix it so it would be great if you guys could help. DreadWingKnight
Which webui.zip did you use? What browser are you testing with?
dsm1212
I get "invalid request" frequently with the recent utserver. No rhyme or reason to it. On one machine it happens in chrome in another it happens in firefox. I use chrome most of the time though and if I start in a new Incognito window it always works. Must be related to cookies or caching. I'm using an https based web proxy from apache so I wasn't sure if it was related to that and I have a work-around so I haven't complained. steve
