SL83
On BitTornado, my download speed looks like this:On uTorrent, I don't even break 200kB/s. Same torrent, 2 minutes time difference. I have a 15/2 Mbps connection. Behind a Linksys WRT54G Version 4 router with the latest Linksys firmware. I have one port forwarded for uTorrent and I have a green light in uTorrent.I doubt that this is a problem with my router, as switching between both programs, uTorrent and BitTornado, BitTornado consistently gets faster speeds. However, uTorrent is pretty, more feature packed, and not a crappy memory hog. So I'd prefer to stick with uTorrent.
Switeck
How fast were you uploading in µTorrent? It's remotely possible µTorrent is overloading your connection by uploading too fast if allowed to upload without any speed limits even on your connection, causing serious reductions in download speed. SL83
That was one of the first things I checked as well. I limited my upload speed to 20kBps to see if my upload was overloading it. It wasn't an issue.Using BitTornado, I've uploaded at 200kB/s while downloading at 1600-1700kB/s before. This is quite odd. :\
