spreasgeet Posted October 25, 2014 Report Share Posted October 25, 2014 I'm using utorrent 3.4.2 (build 34727) [32 bit] All of a sudden, utorrent wouldn't automatically start downloading a torrent when I open a .torrent file. In the past (up to the day before, and maybe even that same morning) when I opened a .torrent file, utorrent would open and ask where I wanted to download the files to (and give me the option to select which files I wanted). Suddenly, when I open a .torrent file, utorrent opens and I see a window flash on the screen but it doesn't display. I was running 2 monitors, but I've tried switching to only one, rebooting, and even re-installing utorrent, but nothing has worked. I have auto-update enabled, but not update to beta versions, so I don't know if an update broke this feature, but all the settings are the same as they were before. Specifically, the options "Activate the program window" and "Show options to change the name and location of the torrent data" are selected.
