ErnieD
Hi, there's probably an answer to this in an FAQ or a trouble-shooting guide, but I've searched several of them and can't find an answer. About an hour ago, I installed a new modem, an ARRIS 6183, and set it up through my ISP, which is Time Warner Cable. The results were great. I went from 20 Mbps up to 70 Mbps right away. But when I re-launched uTorrent, I noticed that all of my 600 or so torrents are inactive. Nothing downloading, nothing uploading. Usually, at least six or eight are active. I upgraded my version of uTorrent, but that didn't help. So I'm wondering what changed when I installed the new modem, and how I can fix it. I suspect it has something to do with ports, but I haven't been able to find that info in the forum. I'm on an Intel core Mac desktop, OS 10.9.4, with uTorrent 1.8.4. Thanks for any help.
