Utorrent isn't displaying the Torrents in the listing are middle of the screen

Version 1.8.6 (35247) utorrent , MAC OSx Yosemite

 

Just downloaded torrent as I've used it in the WINDOWS environment before.

 

I've loaded 20 torrents from searches into torrent and the Torrents status in the left side shows 20 downloading with 4 active and 16 inactive.

 

But the individual torrents are not displaying in the "Torrent Jobs List"  area to the center right side, nothing!

 

The only indication I see that anything is happening is the download and upload speed is active.

 

I've searched all Preferences and settings but cannot find how to display the torrents.

 

Can anyone assist me?

Okay, the left menu suggests 5 are complete now.   I click on the number 5 but nothing happens.

None of the torrent files display in the Torrent Jobs List   window listing to right.

 

 

[The only material change I've made to Preferences is to have the Torrent files stored in "Torrent Downloads" folder in the Downloads folder. The files do appear in that folder using the Finder app.]

Reading the older message I see that it is the "Torrent Jobs List"  that is empty and not being populated by the 20 downloaded torrents.

 

Any ideas why the Torrent Jobs List  is empty?

I think the problem is in the search bar, top right corner. Try to delete the search criteria there and you should see the torrent list.

Incredible, that was it.  Deleted the search phrase .... torrents reappeared.

 

I guess that explains why torrent never searched for the phrases loaded into there as the WINDOWS version operated.
