uTorrent 3.3 does not recognize moved torrent data files

Greetings,

 

I have moved some of my former torrent data files to another directory, and changed the name of the parent directories containing another set of torrent data files. I redefined these setting in the `Preferences` box then I right clicked the torrents and clicked the option `Advance->Set Download Location` and selected the new parent directory. However, when I force rechecked the files it failed to recognize the torrents, how can I circumvent this?

A few things

1> 3.3 is no longer supported

2> Preferences aren't retroactive to already loaded torrents

3> moving the .torrent files is separate from moving the actual payload files.

4> Set download location doesn't go to the parent directory.
