Can't download with hotspot shield

So every time I download something, I have to turn off and exit hotspot shield, press stop and start on my download before it actually starts to download, otherwise, it get stuck to "connecting to peers".

 

I waited for about 3 hours and it still says connecting to peers (without turning off hotpsot shield).

and when I leave it overnight (without turning off hotspot shield), I wake up and its on around 50% downloading.

So I know It will eventually start downloading, but it will take 3 hours to connect to peers,

 

also, when I turn hotspot shield back on again, my download will continue to download.

 

any help? 

 

 

also, when I tell my utorrent to queue, it won't, I can only pause and start. I have the setting for 1 download at a time.
