Hi

I am trying to download my first torrent, and I get always this error, not matter what torrent I choose. On top of that, the taskbard indicator is yellow, never green.

I am part of a 192.168.x.x network behind a freebsd gateway using NAT.

Don't use add by URL, and you should learn how to configure your gateway to forward ports.
