wreckk
alright so excsue me if im posting a question to which there already is an answer to, but im just a little confused.i have a linksys wrt54gs v 2.2 i have the latest firmware for it. i havent had any problems with any other torrent apps like azureus or bitlord etc. but for some reason i cant port forward at all for utorrent. i used portfoward.com to find out what i should do to forward and followed it exactly... but i cant get it to work. always get the error message:Checking port 61487 on 24.2.247.243...Error! Port 61487 does not appear to be open. Please see www.portforward.com for more information about how to map a port.not really sure what to do.(edit: i took a look at the whole linksys problem thing and updated this with the 'hyperwrt' thing. i have the 15c version installed. i think i read i dont need a script with this version.)anyway if anyone can help i would be thankful. Firon
Make sure you forwarded to the correct local IP and that you don't have a firewall interfering.

Firon
Start -> Run -> cmd /k ipconfigThe IP found next to 'IP Address' is your PC's, and the one you need to input in the forwards.
wreckk
firon this is actually avid.for some weird reason the port is open now.but all my torrents are still always red and say "tracker actively refused".
Yenkaz
The tracker is either private, banning µtorrent, or simply not working at this time.
Firon
Actively refused generally means the server itself is up, but the tracker software is not.
